Snowy Hawk

I'm very proud that this snowy scene was selected as a winner in the 2018 KU Endowment Association Illustration Contest. It was used by the Association in print, online and throughout social media. My goal when starting the piece was to present a strong, monochromatic image, with the KU colors providing an eye-catching highlight. And that goal seemed to resonate with the judges. During my days at KU, I drew the Jayhawk a lot of times for editorial cartoons in the "University Daily Kansan." I'm excited that my artwork will again be shared with fellow KU-loving 'Hawks.
